Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I had forgotten my bag at the Tim Hortons off of Central on Dec. 30, around 10 pm and when I called in to see if it was still there they had told me it was. I just want to say a huge thank you to whoever gave it to the staff to hold on to and also a thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. Before I called, I was already thinking that it must have been taken, so it was a very nice surprise to find that it wasn't!
Thank you again and have a Happy New Year!
To our waitress with the blonde hair (real sorry I did not get your name).... that place was slammed tonight, you were run off your feet. you still smiled and gave us ( my boys and I ) the best service and smiles I have had in a long time ...
Thanks for making a good evening with my kids even better

Spotted: My sister who helped give a kitty a second chance.
A cat has been living on her neighbour's porch since Xmas. Given that it is getting cold, my sister took it upon herself to bring the cat in, feed it, and call Moggy's cat rescue to help this little guy, whom she named Kringle (as he was found on Xmas Day). He was very sweet and gregarious. She had no problems getting him in the carrier and he purred like a fiend when she gave him a can of wet food to fill his belly. He was brought to Central Animal Hospital where he will be assessed and treated for the usual kitty stuff. After that, Moggy's will pick up him and place him in a forever home or a foster home. So kudos to my sister for helping a poor kitty in need. Nothing makes my day more than when people come together to help animals in need.
To my sister: thank you for looking out for all creatures big and small when duty called.
To "Kringle": Best of luck finding a home bud! I would take you in a heart beat had I the space or means.

I would just like to wish the wonderful delicatessen lady at Mr. Meats on the West end a very Merry Christmas.
Yesterday my husband went to get a few last minute items. One of them was lunch meat to make quick snacks for today while I make our Christmas dinner feast.
When he came home he was moved by something you had said to him. You said " I just wanted to say thank you " He was puzzled and asked why. You responded that he was the first person to smile all day and that everyone shopping was very cross and not in the holiday spirit.
I just want to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas. I am sorry that the rest of the shoppers were in such states of mind that they forgot the simplicity of politeness. No matter what time of year or how busy people are they have no right to be so "ugly" in spirit. I hope everyone after my husband smiled at you as you are always so pleasant and kind.
This friendly grey cat has been hanging around my house since Christmas day. He has been dubbed the 'Christmas kitty'. Anyways. He comes when you call him. He is super friendly and lets you pick him up while he purrs constantly. He is currently living on my front porch in an old dog bed and eating leftover turkey. He still he his front claws and appears to be in good health. He keeps trying to get into my house every time we open up the door. If anyone recognizes this cat , is missing a cat or is looking to take him in It would be greatly appreciated. I feel bad for this little guy cuz it's getting so cold out and the water dish I've putnout for him keeps turning into slush. He's cuttently in the east riverside area on belleperche street
To the guy in the blue cavalier car on highway 3 going towards Leamington at 4:50 pm, please stop texting while driving!!! You are all over the road and could kill someone!!
I came in after my shift to get a sandwich. i was already having a bad day and i explained to you that customers were driving me crazy and everyone was crabby! You laughed and then told me a hilarious story about a customer asking the difference about two sandwiches. You completely made my day and made me laugh! thank you and keep up the good work!
so Christmas night, I'm driving home down tecumseh road headed east just before dougall I think and got stopped at a light and happened to check my rear view.
just wanted to say to the dancing parents and what I assume was a child/ young teen (I only saw the occasional arms waving): how cute you all were!! u guys were really getting ur boogie on in the car behind me. mom was breaking it down with the vogueing and dad had a freestyle all his own. your little one in the back clearly thought this was a good time as I could see arms waving and copying dance moves from the pros in the front. I'd have paid money to know what song u were all jammin to lol..
I totally applauded for you before the light turned green but you were clearly in your own boogie bubble :)
it's my wish for u that ur child inherits your cabbagepatch, zest for life, and overall awesomeness.
you all rocked it out!! and ty for ending my Christmas Day on a high note!
