Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Thank you to the young lady that shared her grocery bags with me today at Food Basics in Leamington
A small gesture but made my day
This morning I saw the most beautiful VW bus driving down Howard. I've been searching for one for my wedding day. I'm hoping I can find the owner and connect with them
To the stand up Man in the black GMC Sierra Denali pick up truck, at the Tim Horton's drive thru on Walker Rd, this morning (June 19/ 19) about 9:30am
I was behind you in the line, and you paid for my breakfast. I looked for you after, but you were gone. You have no idea how much that meant to me!! You absolutely made my entire week!! I LOVE the idea of a RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS and I do them often. I have never been on the receiving end of one. And to say I've been having a rough few weeks, is a total understatement! So this was perfect timing and I will continue to pay it forward!
Thank you 😊
Yesterday, my boyfriend (now fiance) celebrated our 5 year anniversary at my favourite restaurant, Red Lobster. He did the unthinkable and shocked me with a proposal that I thought would never happen. Another customer that was there at the time had paid $20 of our bill as a congratulatory gift for our engagement. If you happen to see this, please let it be known that you had made our day that much more special and it was VERY much appreciated! Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart! ❤
I was at a funeral June 17, 2019 for a young woman who was 19 yrs of age. She had lost her 7 year battle with cancer. As we drove to her resting place we drove by Essex High School where she attended. As we got close it was hard to contain our emotions as we saw students and teachers line the road with banners and balloons. As if that wasn't emotional we turned the corner to pass McDonald's where Tina has worked and again the street was lined with staff and managers also paying their respects. Well Done Essex, it was a beautiful send off for a beautiful young woman. RIP Tina..
To the wonderful young man that played with my son and his friend at the fountain bleu park. You have been spotted! You were so patient with our boys. Thank you for letting them play with you and your basketball.
Tonight my husband and I had an unusual occurrence with our new vehicle. We apologize for your inconvenience passing our vehicle on Riverside Dr. We are overwhelmed with the dozens of people that stopped to see if we were ok, needed a phone or any other assistance. The Windsorites that stopped were of all ages, ethnicities and were in cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles, the true diversity of our city! A special thank you to the nearby neighbour man that brought me a chair while waiting for the tow truck and also invited me into his home to sit with his wife and have a coffee! He spoke of being here for 11 yrs and how much he loves Windsor. Your kindness and infectious smile really made an upsetting incident so much better. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to stop to assist us, I hope to pay your kindness forward!
On Sunday may 19th you assisted my father In law at the corner of Lauzon and Wyandotte, you found him and started to do cpr. With out you my family would not have been able to say their good byes and have some kind of peace. On behalf of all of them we'd like to say thank you for that and thank you for being with him for that time when no one else was.
