Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I remember working in retail and the thing I loved most was helping people, and picking and choosing what looked best on them. I never got the chance to have that experience towards me, until I walked into La Senza in Devonshire mall. A lady named Lydia helped me and she took her time and patience with me and was just soo very nice. Thank you. Your hard work is noticed! I appricated the experience and thanked you but words are never enough!
I took my daughters to the Parent & Tot Skate at the WFCU Centre this afternoon. When I arrived, the lady who worked behind the desk (Anne) offered me two Skating Aids. She told me that earlier in the day, a woman came in with the Skating Aids and said to pass them on to someone who could use them. I am so grateful to this lady as I had been looking to buy them used, but wasn't having much luck finding them for sale. My daughters had a great afternoon learning how to skate and I will definitely pay it forward. Thank you also to Anne for being so kind.
To Dr. Toth I just want you to know how THANKFUL I am for what you have done for me I was there for my daughter's apt, and you helped me too. You and Your Office Staff are amazing and have been so Kind and Caring to us thought the years and there are no words to say but THANK YOU . You have been SPOTTED and I Thank You all from the bottom of Our Hearts. and also Dr. Sion too
I just wanted to tell people to do some really kind things today since today is the day we talk about mental health and how we can help others cope with mental health illnesses. As mentioned numerously by CHMA that 1 in 5 will struggle with mental health illnesses and I want to say to all the Windsorites to keep up the awesome work and to all the awesome posts I read here online, thank you for sharing your stories.
As a person with ADD/ ADHD, people have told me numerous times that I should take medications or have labelled me for my personality. Let's remember everyone is unique in this world and when I lived in Windsor, Ontario and a few other cities in Ontario, I have met so many people that have helped me in so many ways to appreciate myself when I lived in Windsor. From the Transit Operators, Casino Staff, Pizza Hut Employees, Mall Staff, and many men and women living in the community. I truly appreciate all of your support and thanks to all of you, I am trying my very best to help others, pay it forward, and help everyone like Paddington Bear.
Let's make January 28 (today) a great day to raise awareness and a request to Spotted if this post could be shared on Facebook to raise awareness of this important cause I have in my heart. I would really appreciate it a lot if its no trouble for your staff since your staff do an excellent job with posting lovely stories. :)
From the guy that battles ADHD and wants to raise awareness about these issues people live with everyday.
I just want to give thanks to the gentleman and his friends/ family who offered me help with making my 4 y/ o daughter comfortable after we were in a car accident on Ottawa street today (Jan 27th). Thank you so much for the blanket to keep her warm when she was trembling from shock and offering for her to play with your kids to keep her mind off of what had happened. We are all fine and just sore. Your good deed and kindness is very much appreciated.
Thank you

A wise man once said True compassion means not only feeling another's pain but also being moved to help relieve it. Our family had the privilege to be surrounded by Health Care Workers that did just that.
We came into the hospital, for our 98 year old Mom with COPD. You hear stories of Dr's saying Well she's old and then not treating her as if she were young, but Dr Reeves you not only did everything you could think of but you stepped out of the box and did more. The more was probably to make us siblings feel better about the condition of Mom. Medically, you to talked to us, not above us, we understood clearly what was about to happen. You made us laugh. You allowed a gang of relatives invade your ER to come together as a family.
To the nurses, each and every one of you who worked on Mom you did so with such compassion as if she was your Mother. You touched her gently when you had to treat her. You included us and informed us as to what you were doing and also described why and what it should do. You gave us space to begin our grieving process.
We need more kindness, more compassion, more joy, more laughter in this world and we witnessed all this on Friday January 23, 2015
Hotel Dieu Hospital has real angels working in their ER.

I was having breakfast by myself at Marija's Place this morning and was kindly surprised to have my bill taken care of before I left by a man named Troy. I want to thank him for paying for my meal and to let him know that I appreciate the random kindness. Thank you sincerely.
