Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Steffani from Care Medical Transport. Thank you for being so nice! You are a very cool person who doesn't look like a grandma! If anyone who knows her reads this knows her, please give her a heads up. She's also a girl who makes her hair different colors so she's double great for me :) I want everyone to know how kind she is, I felt so comfortable on a bad day plus she's a great driver! Again Steffani, thank you,,,
If you've already decided you will not vote for any of the "Big 3" Political Parties that have done damage in the past, send me a note saying so. I will be the Candidate for the Green Party in the upcoming Federal Election if there is enough people who want something different. If you don't care, I need not either. Nothing else has worked so far.
Having a serious case of the "Monday's" today, I took my lunch break at Subway on Legacy Park Dr. Ordered my food, and got a bottled drink instead of the usual fountain pop. Upon arriving at my table, the totally competent chick that I am, slide my tray onto the table only to have my bottle of juice fly the coop and explode all over the floor... Smooth. So I pick it up, throw it in the bin and I sit down to eat my lunch, I've only got thirty minutes after all... Sitting there eating in silence, when this lady, who was seated behind me at an adjacent table puts a bottle of apple juice on my table, tells me to have a nice day, and turns and leaves. Such a simple gesture, yet it made such a huge impact for me, especially on the horrific day that was today. So, kind lady, if you're reading this by some miraculous chance, thank you. You have been spotted, and I will pay it forward - when someone least expects it.
I was working the register at PetSmart today, (Monday, February 23) when I lady walked in straight up to the counter with a beautiful bracelet. She found it right outside our door. Seems heavier, appears to be a men's style. If you lost it, come in to PetSmart, and describe it to our manager. They'll be glad to get it back to you. Also, to the woman who turned it in, you've been spotted!
I was on my way home on the bus this afternoon like I do every weekday , I was on the 1c west bound bus 684 and the bus had just pulled into ouellete avenue where the very first bus shelter is by the Havana smoke shop and there is a young homeless man sitting in the entrance way of the bar on 576 ouellete when you honked your horn and gave the young man some change , you sir whoever you are have been spotted for you random act of generosity and kindness . That truly touched my heart to see someone care about someone on the streets begging in this freezing cold .
To the lady who ordered breakfast from Tim Hortons at Central. When I grabbed my order I drove to work and then opened my bag and noticed I got the wrong order. I heard you ordering behind me and I heard you ask for mayo on a breakfast bagel. Be more considerate next time, not everyone likes Mayo....
I am totally kidding, I hope you enjoyed my Panini sandwich, unless you did the smart thing and check your bag before leaving the drive-thru. The coffee was #OnPoint tho
Signed,
The guy who gave away your sandwich because me no likey mayo
(I can only imagine how funny it would be if this actually found its way to your newsfeed)
I don't remember seeing something that touched me like this has in a long time. #Childrensee #Childrendo

We hear so many negative things about police, so I'd like to share my positive experience.
I met my cousin for breakfast Sunday morning. There was a note on my car when I left. An apology for bumping my car and leaving black paint on the bumper. Included was his name, cell phone number, and a signature. I phoned and got voicemail (yes, with the same name that was on the note) and left a message that I have a 2000 Focus that is falling apart, so as far as I'm concerned, the paint just adds character.
Of course after I left the message, I googled this person's name (admit it, you do it too) and discovered he is a Windsor Police Officer. Honesty from anyone is always refreshing, so thank you.
So Mr. P.O., should you give a minor ticket (tickets yes, criminals no) to any single males (preferably attractive and emotionally and financially stable - or 2 of the 3, I drive a 2000 Focus, obviously I'm not too demanding) between 41-50 in the near future, please keep me in mind. justkiddingnotkidding. :)
