Thank you to the two kind hearted guys that helped my husband and family yesterday while on the boat. We are brand new boaters tonight and we decided to take my dad out for a ride. We had some pretty bad luck tonight and and experienced some good learning lessons! First off, we took my daughter tubing and it filled with water and we couldn't get the tube back on the boat. Second, we anchored in Belleriver to eat dinner and the waves started to get really rough. My husband couldn't get the anchor back into the boat as the waters were so rough. These two kind gentlemen, must of seen that we were stuck, came over to our boat in the water, helped pushed the boat out as we were beached and getting closer and closer to the dock. Thank you so much, your help was very much appreciated!
thank you to the black 300 in the tim hortons drive thru on central today at 2:15pm for paying for my order. small things like that can make someone's day! :)
This is probably a long shot but my fingers are crossed, Friday night I lost my charm bracelet ( silver) has about 8 charms on it, I walked the green way from Talbot street to Bennie grade school then down Sherk street to sea cliff park. I'm hoping if someone has found it to please msg me.
Summer is often a challenging time on Canada's blood system. Blood donors needed. Help someone wake up to a healthier tomorrow. That someone could be a family member, friend, or perhaps even yourself.

I want to point out the lady inside the retail store on Wyandotte street that sells sporting goods! As my son and I where in there looking for a new bike as his was stolen on Monday from our front porch! She over heard me telling the sales lady what happened! We where leaving the store without finding a bike for him ( he needed and bigger one then what they had) she turned to him and gave him $10 to go towards his new bike! You should have seen his face! She said sorry to hear about his bike and wanted to help out! We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts you made his day and shows him what society should be like. Making a bad experience into a good one! Hopefully u see this, we never got your name but you are so nice for doing this!

Pet peeve! I witnessed an elderly man in his 90's at the Walker Rd. Swiss Chalet with a walker f ghting to get out of washroom. Luckily someone had come to his aid before I got there but I checked out the washroom myself to find that not only does the washroom doors not have an accessibility button to open doors for handicap people, but the spring that closes the door is very tight. Businesses should be mandatory to have handicap accessibility. (I offered to help him get around while we were there if he needed it).
At 3 am in the area of south Windsor on Avondale ave there was 4 teenagers on bikes broke into my wife's car. Only one teenager was spotted on a green bmx bike.
