That's not something you see very day!

There's always something new to see in Windsor! I'm a newborn photographer, but when I saw these babies, I knew I had to take some snapshots! Turkey anyone?

Bad Parenting Moment?

Walker Road SuperStore. Leaving the store and see a 3 year old boy running around the parking lot alone. Chase him down and bring him to customer service where his ignorant mother (who was still shopping at the time) starts yelling at the child for disappearing. All the while showing no sign of relieve or gratitude for finding him. Your welcome for saving your child from being kidnapped or run over. Maybe look for your child next time instead of continuing to shop for 10 minutes. Sincerely a girl who almost had a heart attack and it wasn't even my kid.

unexpected gift from city workers

I cannot start to thank the 2 gentlemen from the City of Windsor who were trimming trees on my street this morning. We've had a huge wasps nest in our tree since summer began. My son kept bugging us to take it down so he could bring to his jk class. By no means were we getting it down. Way too many wasps. I drove up to the men today trimming other trees and asked if they would cut it down for me. He replied it wasn't their usual job to do and not to worry as they are all dead now. So I explained how important this nest was to my son. Two minutes later they were up on their ladder cutting it down. I thanked them profusely and told them today is his 5th bday and if I gave him this for a gift he would be the happiest kid ever.
I'm sorry I didn't have time to get you guys Timmy's but please please know if you see this you made 2 peoples day, mom and child!!!!

Why I was crying in the McDonald's Playland

To the wonderful lady at McDonald's last Monday. Things were pretty stressed at our house, so much so, that I said I'd take the kids to McDonald's to thank them for putting up with all the craziness. We got there with limited time and the kids immediately zoomed off to the Playland while I put in our order...and realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. There was no way I could pry the kids out of the Playland, get them into their winter clothes and home and back again before we ran out of time. I told the young girl behind the counter that I would go see what money I had in the car. I came back with $10 in change, madly prioritizing what to order...only to see that the girl had put our order through and it was all sitting there waiting for me. The lady behind me in line saw what was going on and, over my protests, chipped in the remaining $4. "Don't worry about it. It happens to all of us." It was -- without a doubt -- the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me. And that was why I was crying in the McDonald's Playland.
