Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Thanks to the great staff today (3-7pm) at Windsor Regional Hospital who attended to my husband's broken foot. A special thanks to the wonderful nurse practitioner and ER RN.(unfortunately...I can't remember their names) who were very caring and took the extra time to explain everything to us. You should be proud of the great work that you do!!! You have been spotted...
I accidentally stumbled upon Facebook's "Other" folder and found the message below, which was written 3 years ago on May 5, 2012. The problem is that it only showed as from "Facebook User," so I have no idea who wrote it. I am very, very curious as to who sent this lovely message to me. So please find me again on Facebook. And yes, whoever you are, I forgive you :)
Dear Michelle, First I would like to apologize for interrupting your life. Personally, I'm not a big fan of past ghosts. The thing is, I was delivering mail on Janisse today, and you popped in my mind, as one of my calls was your old home. I immediately felt that I owed you an apology for not treating you very nice way back. I just wanted to tell you that I was sorry for being such a jerk when we were kids, and I hope you can forgive me. I was just immature, and well...a jerk. Hope all is well with you! have a GREAT week. Again, i apologize for the 'life' interruption...
I want to give a shoutout to an awesome lady who was on the Dominion 5 around 4pm today (Thursday) going Northbound right during the traffic jam and the terrible weather. She noticed a lady who was sitting next to her on the bus without an umbrella,so this awesome lady gave her umbrella to the passenger in need. You rock! :)
To the women two cars ahead of me at Tim Hortons on Lauzon and Wyandotte who paid for my order this afternoon, I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate what you did and wanted to say THANK YOU. Such a small act of kindness from you mystery ladies really made my day. Thank you for putting such a smile on my face and proving there are still good people out there. I hope this message finds its way to you so that you know the appreciation I have for what you did today.
On April first my car broke down on Randolph. I had to push my car to the side of the street. For about 20 mins no one stopped, then a guy looking hippyish stopped in his flip flops to help push. Thnx man . Then as i had hood popped and in full troubleshoot mode . A young beautiful woman stopped in her blue Lincoln and offered her help with boosting my car. Unfortunately my car did not need a boost. :( i frown because i should have got your name and possibly your number. Anyways thank you :) it's good to know there are still some good people out there .
Roseland public school went above and beyond this year for epilepsy awareness day. 7B involved the entire school in activities such as face painting, nail painting and fact sharing. My son lives with epilepsy in his life everyday, I (his mother) had had seizures for the past 5years , he has headed his school in promoting education about epilepsy for the past 3 years. So proud of all of the hard work that his teacher and the school did for March 26th (purple day). They have also been awarded class of the week by AM800 and will be receiving their awards and breakfast on April 9th by arms Bumanlag So proud of them all and would like to share with everyone what an awesome class they are!!!
I just would like to thank whoever donated the wonderful easter baskets to St .John school. That was incredibly kind. Each basket was so nicely done and jam packed with fun things for kids and very limited candy which is great. The children were lit up from ear to ear and the ones lucky enough to win the draw were so excited. Two of my children won and were so grateful and thankful. A lot of time and money went into these baskets. Wishing you(all)a happy easter.
The blue lights have been spotted, at the house with all the Christmas lights on Tranby.
