Windsor police investigating possible kidnapping

POLICE INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE ABDUCTION

On Sunday April 19 2015 at approximately 1:15 p.m. Windsor Police were dispatched to a park in the 5400 block of Lassaline Avenue. Investigation revealed that a group of young children were playing in the park when a large white vehicle pulled up. It is alleged that the man grabbed a seven year old girl, brought her into the vehicle and drove off. The young children gave slightly different variations. At this point police have not confirmed whether or not an abduction took place. It is unknown if it was simply a parent or a relative picking up the child legitimately or a stranger. There have not been any reports of missing children. Police are asking anyone with information to contact police at 519-258-6111. We are also asking parents that may have picked up a 7years old at that park to contact police so that we could have a better determination of what took place.

Possible suspect description:

White male in his 30's driving a large white 4 door vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-258-6111, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com, or Submit a Tip on Facebook.

Town and country animal clinic

Last monday my dog was having issues with her eyes. I called the town and country animal clinic in LaSalle, across from the outlet mall, and the lady working at the desk who answered the phone was amzing. She let me tell her my concerns without interrupting me and kindly gave me an appointment within 15 minutes! When I got to the clinic everyone was so amazing! Sophie was treated VERY well. Dr. Fetherson was very calm and gentle with my dog, which allowed her to feel very comfortable. Everyone from the lady working at the desk, the vet tech, to the Dr. was just amazing! I highly recommend this clinic, very professional, supportive, and kind! Thank you again, I will always go there if any other concerns arise, by the way, sophie is doing just fine now!

To the mom @ WindStars

Dear mom.

I saw you today. You have a son in the special needs class for Windstars Gymnastics. I saw that your son was having a rough day, and in turn, you were having a rough day too. I saw you struggle as he struggled, and I saw you quietly wipe away a tear when he cried. I just wanted you to know that I saw you... And you're doing good, mom. You're doing good. Keep up the awesome work.

Signed,
A mom in somewhat similar shoes.

Thanks, Emma

Sobey's on Manning and Amy Croft should be proud of Emma. She's a great employee. As she checked out my groceries today she chatted pleasantly, insisted on packing them for me, and noticed I had a badly beaten can in my case of Coke which she replaced for me with a smile. It's people like Emma who bring back customers. Please give her a pat on the back if you know her.

Generous At the Bingo

I would just like to express my gratitude to the sweetheart at the Bingo on Walker at the 12am session. I was sitting beside you, you won the jackpot ( happy for you) and gave me and the lady behind you each $20. That was very sweet of you and I will pay it forward. You generosity put a smile on my face and made my night. You have been spotted!
