The best Lean Beef?

I know this is a weird question to ask, but I'm looking to know if anyone can tell me where I may be able to purchase the leanest/ healthiest ground beef, here in Windsor. Is there a special meat market I can go to? I would appreciate the help and information :) I compete in fitness competitions, and lately I've noticed the Extra Lean Ground beef at Wal-Mart is good, but wondering if there is something better out there lower in fat.

Thank You :)

NEW GIRL AT SUBWAY!

To the new girl at the subway in the plaza right by Malden and Sprucewood with the name Shayden, you were doing great! I could tell you were nervous (everyone is starting a new job) and the manager there is just a bitter mean lady and wasn't being overly nice to you. Same with the kids ordering I want to let you know that you did amazing! You were kind and actually listened to my order and made me a great sub! I used to work at Subway so I am very picky!
Just wanted to let you know you've been spotted for doing a great job on one of your first days ! :) keep up the good work lady !

Walmart wallet mystery

Yesterday I lost my wallet when leaving Walmart on Dougall ave at 6 pm. Not realizing it until later that evening when Walmart was of course closed I began to fear the worst. I searched everywhere with no luck and went to be ridden with anxiety that all of my information was lost or stolen. I awoke today and anxiously drove to Walmart fearing the absolute worst. I asked the assistant manager to check for me and waited as he searched the back. Lo and behold my wallet was there with everything exactly as I had left it.... Even my $4 in change! So i wanted to say thank you thank you thank you to the good samaratin who returned my wallet. Words cannot express my gratitude.

Good people doing good things

Spotting Greyhound Rescue Windsor. They had a charity dog wash at the PetValu on Tecumseh Rd. to raise funds and awareness. We don't have a greyhound, but we do have a 110 lb dog in need of a bath. $10 donation to their cause. We were in line behind others with mostly very small dogs. Their volunteers were amazing with our big, water phobe baby. It was so clear that even though they were raising funds for their greyhounds, they loved all dogs. I didn't get names, but the lady taking pictures and talking to the customers, the lady and gentleman who gave our dog the best bath EVER, Thank you, you are all amazing people who clearly are dedicated to the pets that we call family members. Your passion for our 4 legged friends is inspiring. Keep fighting the good fight and we wish you much success.

POLICE INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE ABDUCTION

On Sunday April 19 2015 at approximately 1:15 p.m. Windsor Police were dispatched to a park in the 5400 block of Lassaline Avenue. Investigation revealed that a group of young children were playing in the park when a large white vehicle pulled up. It is alleged that the man grabbed a seven year old girl, brought her into the vehicle and drove off. The young children gave slightly different variations. At this point police have not confirmed whether or not an abduction took place. It is unknown if it was simply a parent or a relative picking up the child legitimately or a stranger. There have not been any reports of missing children. Police are asking anyone with information to contact police at 519-258-6111. We are also asking parents that may have picked up a 7years old at that park to contact police so that we could have a better determination of what took place.

Possible suspect description:

White male in his 30's driving a large white 4 door vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-258-6111, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com, or Submit a Tip on Facebook.
