My night at work is off to a good start.

Yesterday I visited the dump on central to get some fill. The service was great. Which surprised me bc ive had some nasty help there before.
Dave and his team on the yard waste side saved us a big accident and thousands of dollars in liability.
Our hitch was seperating from the jeep. We had 1.5 tonnes of weight in our trailer. We couldve killed someone if it detached.
The young man with the loader noticed and immediately took action informing us of the issue and calling over two other men to help.
They offered to lift the trailer off our hitch. They coroned off our trailer and secured it so we could find other means to pull it over the next couple days. They even found us a good Samaritan who helped us get our trailer home safely. A big shout out to nemo from bogars for your awesome help yesterday as well. Another good man who serves as an example of a good employee. When asked why he helped us he said he works for a company that prides itself in helping people get home safe and it has left a lasting impression on him to do the same. What a great representative for bogars.
In the past i trained and managed in the service industry. I know that these men gave us excepiltional service beyond their duties. I also know that it is character not duty that creates moments like these.
City workers get a bad rep all the time. These three men are proof that our tax dollars are being well spent. Imo a little more could go their way.
Thank you dave and the guys at the dump working on the yard. You have my gratitude and ill be sure to have some timmies cards for u guys to grab lunch next door next time im through.
Today at the Subway off of Walker and Ottawa, my best friend and I went to buy a combo for lunch because she found a gift card with $10 on it in her purse. When we went to pay for the sub, the cashier swiped the card and said that the card had no money on it. Embarrassed, my best friend said that she could not afford it. The cashier offered to pay for it. Thank you so much, sweetheart. We appreciate it immensely.
To the guy at metro on Tecumseh near Banwell. We chatted for a but while you were looking at avacados and we talked about you wanting guacamole for nachos. You were so grateful when I told you they had prepackaged guacamole and ended up picking that instead and returned the ingredients you were going to buy to make it ( much simpler for the situation). You thanked me and went on your way. When I went to cash out the lady at the til mentioned how someone had just paid for the groceries a lady in front of him she was going to buy. He overheard she had left her wallet at the office and didn't have cash. He quickly offered to pay and she thanked him asking if he would meet her back here some time in the future to pay her back. He declined and said he is happy to help. While I was still thinking about our conversation earlier I asked her what this guy looked like. She said tall and he had glasses on and he bought guacamole and some chips. It was you!!!!! My smile even got bigger. Thanks for the chat and laughs in the vegetable area, and thanks for touching 2 other people in a total of 15 minute.
I took my son to a parent and tot gymnastics class today and was disgusted by the lack of parenting going on. I get it, toddlers are difficult to control, but giving up and letting them run wild is not the answer.
Your child's disrespect is contagious to other children. Vaccinate them....with some discipline...or stop procreating.

Would just like to mention a very positive experience I had at the ABC Exchange pawn shop on Wyandotte Street west yesterday. I had a phone emergency I dropped my iPhone while on a walk and it would not turn back on. I was a bit iffy heading into the shop, but my experience was 100% positive! The young man who sold me the phone not only gave me a fair price, but also explained how to transfer my contacts from my old phone to the new one. A nice, family-oriented business that I will mostly definitely go back to! 5 stars!
I want to say thank you to all of the nurses, doctors, staff members, and my doula who have blessed me during my stay. I gave birth to my third daughter on Wednesday evening. The medical staff and my doula, Mindy, helped to make this the most wonderful birth and hospital stay ever. Thank you for you kindness and genuine caring. You'll all will forever be in my heart and I won't ever be able thank you enough.
