Nick the bus driver

There's some wonderful bus drivers in Windsor but the one we got to meet yesterday was incredible. I heard a few riders call him "nick". Having a stroller and my older daughter walking there was no seats for her to sit so he invited her to sit next to where he drives. Says that's where his daughter sits when she rides the bus and he's working. He was so friendly to everybody getting on and off the bus, but I'm thankful for how sweet he was to my baby girl!

Roller Blader Cleaned up a messy situation!

The winds are pretty strong today and I noticed while sitting on my balcony that the wind knocked over one of the blue recycle bins along the riverfront. A couple passing by was nice enough to pick up the bin and set it right. Few seconds later, a nice young man on his roller blades probably saw the same thing I did. As I'm watching the young man on his roller blades, I'm wondering "will he pick up the mess?".... YES he did! and I just want to say THANK YOU for doing that! You've been spotted young man!!!

Goodwill Bookstore

To the woman that came in this morning, looking down. You told me you weren't sure what you were looking for, that you were just needing a peaceful place to be. You looked troubled, and a little sad.

You overheard a boy come in, and ask the price of some items, then excitedly say he'd be right back with money. You asked me the price, and asked if it was ok to buy it for him. When he returned, with his fistful of nickels, dimes, and quarters, I told him you had purchased the items for him.

The smile on his face was genuine, and I pointed to you & whispered you had purchased them for him. I heard him thank you so sincerely. Perhaps you found what you were looking for all along. You made him, and me, extremely happy. When you left the store, you looked relaxed, and had a smile.

Thank you for starting the chain reaction of positives that happened throughout my day.

Your kindness has been spotted.

Guardian angel

I'm a letter carrier. As I was crossing Central and Tecumseh today on my right of way by the way, a guy in a truck laid on his horn. I stopped dead in my tracks thinking what are u honking at me for? A second later a guy in a van blew the red light. If it was not for him laying on the horn I would be dead. I want to thank him for being my guardian angel today and watching my back. To the a-hole in the van, pay the effin attention!

A really big shout out to "Tiffany" a night nurse at Met Hospital on Wednesday night- you were a kind and caring person who made me feel comfortable leaving my elderly mother in the emergency room for the night! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for you taking the time to show me your heart!!!

N.I.C.U Nurse Mothers

I would like to give a huge hug and shout out to the entire OB Floor at Met Hospital. Having taken care of my daughter over the last nine months for a challenging pregnancy, post care. Your patience and compassion give me faith in a world dotted by hate and judgement.
Extra Hugs n Luv to the N.I.C.U for your talents as health providers. In a time of fear your hugs not only for the babies, but fathers, mothers and siblings far exceeds your job mandate. I wish all parents to know if your child starts their life in that unit please know they will 99.9% go home with you. Yes, it's scary, heartbreaking and you always fear the worse. However these women and men hold your baby's when your not their. They sing to them, talk to them and give them outstanding care. They also treat the family like parents. I sat for 9 days with our "Prim", I was downtrotten when I started but full of a heartfelt love for all of our nurses. Oh I'm sure listening to me babble when I needed, or wipe my tears when I just couldn't keep them back wasn't part of their job. Nor were the tears that ran down their face at my sadness. So when we are asked to support new facilities, wage increases or anything they need, please know one day by luck or loss you will need a woman like Pat, if not for her skill but ability to make a 14 year old sibling with a sick sister and ill mother feel like she was the special twinkle that made her little sister grin! (We know it was just gas shhhh! )
Thank you so much for my solice.

The man in the dark coloured pickup truck at Tim Hortons on Southfield in Tecumseh

I want to thank the gentleman who was ahead of me in line at Tim's this morning at 6 a.m. To my surprise, when I got to the window to pay for my order, I was informed by the very excited young ladies that you, the gentleman in the pickup...had so generously paid for my somewhat large order. Thank you SO MUCH!! You made my day....

You, dear sir, have been spotted!!!
