Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
This evening, myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter were bike riding around forest glade. Our daughter was distracted by some kids playing, and while looking over at them, she ran straight into the back of a van parked on the street. The owner of the van came running over right away- with a bag of ice. She started checking out my daughter's wrist to make sure she was okay and then started joking with my daughter. I informed her of the scuff on her bumper, to which she didn't even reply right away because she was only concerned about my daughter. Eventually, she looked at her bumper and told us not to worry about it, and that she was just glad my daughter was okay. Thank you for your big heart, and helping to make my daughter feel better.
So today (Thursday, August 27) I went to Devonshire Mall and went into the Mommy and Baby room when I noticed in the corner were diapers wrapped in bow with a lovely note that read, "Here if you forgot some.Honouring a baby boy who left this world too soon" , thank you for your positive outlook even through such a difficult time.Your kind gesture has been spotted.
To the kind honest person that returned my moms gold watch at Food basics I would like to say thank you thank you thank you. On Saturday my mother had gone shopping at a couple of grocery stores. When she got home she noticed she lost her watch. A watch that my father had given to her 50 years ago. She was devastated since dad passed away 2 years ago. I made a few phone calls and I was told it was returned. So nice to know there are still honest people in this world. My mother and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts
Today while at the corn fest my son became scared while in one of the rides....when suddenly a little young many (4 or 5 yrs old ) took him by the hand and helped him to finish his trek thru the maze...I wanted to say thanks to you for showing my son (whos 3 ) that there is good people in the world who look out for one another and help each other out...you my young friend have been spotted for teaching my son this good lesson that all children need to learn...to think of others before you think of yourself
I had been shopping for a NEW car. Went to a couple of different kinds and in the end I choose a Chevy Trax. This my FIRST car in my life and the place I choose was Gus Revenberg. I will tell you from the moment my foot hit the lot I was greeted by Steve (last names I didn't get). he was busy with a customer but made sure someone came out and that someone was Wayne!!! He took his time with and I promised him I would wait till he came back after a couple days off to finish the deal with him. I returned on Monday to take a few out on a test drive and that is when Michael helped me out . I drove the Cruze and the Trax . It was close to quitting time but the time was not looked at . Michael then need some questions answered and that is where Jordan came in . This was so overwhelming for me but EACH ONE was so patience with me. On Thursday I went back and Wayne was in and I sealed the deal!!!
I then had to go to the see if I can get approved and that were Katie came in . She made me feel so calm and went through everything with a fine tooth comb. I can not say ENOUGH how they ALL made me feel like FAMILY . Yes they are sales people I work in Retail and they made me feel like I hope I make my customers feel. Happy and WELL taking CARE of.
So to GUS REVENBERG you have a GREAT TEAM and I mean TEAM. They watch out for each other and their customers too.
To Wayne , Katie, Steve ,Michael and Jordan THANK YOU from the bottom of my Heart. You made me at ease and I was sent off with a Hug and a Kiss on the cheek. To Windsor out there if you are in need of a car ,truck or van you HAVE to check them out you will not be disappointed .
THANK YOU TEAM GUS YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!
Thank you to the young lady in a gold coloured Ford at the Tim Hortons at 8am located at Manning and Tecumseh you made my day! Three coffiees' and a box of tim bits was more than generous. I hope your day is as good as you made mine and it is not even 9am!!
I would like to spot the wonderful man - sorry i didnt get your name - who chased down the young man who hit my daughter and drove off. My daughter was riding her bike through an intersection and a driver trying to beat the light made a left turn right in her path. She managed to brake and avoid the brunt of the impact but he still hit her and then proceeded to drive away. This gentelman seen what happened, acknowledged that my daughter was being taken care of and proceeded to follow the driver and bring him back to the scene of the accident. If it wasnt for you this young man would have gotten away with hit and run, instead he is being charged. I am so greatful to all that were there and helped my daughter tonight. She is ok, really sore and a broken finger but could have been alot worse. And to you the driver who tried to flee I truly hope you learn from this experience you sir are a horrible young man and need to learn some common decency.
I had a flat tire and just drip my wife off at work and had my Two kids in the vechile with me. I didn't have my wallet or phone on me so I decided to drive home with a completely flat tire with my four ways on. I noticed a CAA driver behind me with his four way on as well, he flagged me over and helped me with my tire and made sure I got home okay. Thank you very much. I know his name but don't want to get him In trouble with his job as I am not a CAA member. My kids were also thankful because they were a bit scared with daddy driving with the loud flat tire.
