Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
While visiting London over Labour Day weekend, our family did some back to school shopping at White Oaks Mall. As my husband wandered away from the kids and I (sans cellphone), he completely lost us. Suddenly I received a picture text of my hubby at Ben Moss Jewelers, saying that he is looking for me. The women at the store and I had a good laugh over the ordeal. Thanks for being there and giving us something funny to remember of our shopping trip!
Today while shopping at the brick this afternoon, they had a hotdog stand with donations being made to help the sick kids foundation. While my son had been crying and very irritable it was time for us to leave. This young man in front of us all of a sudden makes a generous donation and turns around and hands my son a superhero teddy bear! Of course he stopped crying instantly. You made his day! You should be spotted for your kind heart and generosity to a great foundation! Thanks again and today you sir have been spotted!
While volunteering to sell corn at the corn booth under the Tecumseh water tower on behalf of Run for the Cure group, a Town of Tecumseh employee pulled up on the road to water the flower arrangements. The gentleman waved at me to come over & when I did he gave me a generous donation for the breast cancer survivors & did not want me to give him any corn. You have been spotted - what a sweet thing to do - so proud of Tecumseh residents!
I just want the owners of the Tim Hortons at Park and Goyeau to know they have awesome night staff. I come in on my lunch and see how hard your ladies work and want you to know. They are taking care of customers and they are trying to do the big cleaning. I worked at this store about 16 years ago and know how crazy it can be. So If the owner is Vicki and family still just want u to know the night ladies are awesome.
Friday evening, September 4th, I was out walking my dog downtown. As I was approaching Greek Town Pita on Ouellette, I decided I would stop in for some of their awesome food. Unfortunately, there was no place to tie up my dog. One of the employees saw my dilemma, and immediately came up to the door and took my order. When my food was ready, a 2nd employee came out and offered to watch my dog while I went in to pay for my food. Your customer service has always been top notch...as well as your food, but this tonight far superseded any customer service I've ever had. Thank you a million to both of you and I hope you both see this! You all are the best!
Signed,
A very happy, and hungry customer :)
This evening I was at Wal-Mart picking up pop for an event, as I was waiting in line the couple in front of me had many various items all separated for individual bills all lined up on the conveyer. I overheard them talking to the cashier and mention they needed individual bills for reimbursements.. they were foster parents. As they cashed out, the man appologized for the long wait almost each time they finished a sale.. I smiled and said it was no problem and no rush at all.. What I should have said was what amazing selfless people you are! It's wonderful to see people making the world a better place, and I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you that! I hope you see this and know it takes special people like you to make a difference and a positive impact, you are doing a great thing! :)
Seen this tonight in the Wal Mart parking lot in the East Side
So I had the day from hell, work , my dog had emergency surgery running in circles all day getting my kids from place to place and I stopped by the dollar store on central to buy a lock for my sons football gear. He was so excited to get it that day (grade 9) and I forgot my bank card on my kitchen table. I had zero dollars in my purse and the cashier could clearly see the frustration in my face and all she said was don't worry I understand and she pulled out her wallet and paid for my sons lock. It's something so little as that, that honestly turned my whole day around ... Thank you from this frazzled burning the wick at both ends mom and trust me I will pay it forward :)
