Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the gentleman who saw me struggling at the cash register and picked up the Tab, your kind heart and generosity touched this mommy's heart! Thank you very much. I wish you a very Merry Christmas. ~mommy of two boys
To the idiot this morning who could not see out his back window to lazy to clean it off maybe you should invest in a snow brush and take the 2 minutes to clean your car off so you can see when cutting someone off idiots in Sudbury
I want to give a kudos to Paige from Guelph for being an outstanding server at the Outback Shack at Fanshawe College when I went there. Not only did she go above the extra mile for me by providing outstanding customer service but she also took the time to chat with me. This is something I don't normally see in Kitchener-Waterloo. I just wanted to say thanks to her and I really appreciate how she made my day. smile emoticon
I also wanted to spot Josh Yandt for being such a positive role model to me and the London community on promoting kindness. I really enjoyed listening to your speeches. I also wanted to spot Katrina Craig for always being an awesome professor and for supporting her students every step of the way. I really enjoyed coming back to Fanshawe College to visit as a former Office Administration - General student.
Thank you all to the men and women that attend Fanshawe and to those that work. Your help is always appreciated. Thank you to Sarah Marques for also being an awesome friend as well. Your all awesome and it was nice coming back to London.
I just want to thank each and every single person who stopped to help my son and I after we were involved in a car accident on tecumseh road when a man decided he was going to run a red light. I wish I could have taken the time to thank each and every one of you personally. And thank you to the witnesses who stayed behind as well. You guys are amazing people xoxoxo
I believe that a teacher can have so much impact on a student, and it always amazes me when a teacher goes above and beyond and takes teaching a step further. I have a special needs child and knowing that his teacher pushes him to learn to what she believes he is capable of makes me feel so happy. My son could barely read before maybe a few words but this year he is reading so much more, they have certain days that they pair up with kindergarteners and my son will read to them. Knowing my son is accomplishing makes me so proud of him. To some this may be something so small but to a mom with a special needs child it means the world. I wanted to acknowledge, and thank his teacher for all she is doing. Not just with my child but with all the children in her classroom!
I want to say "Thanks" to the guy in a black Lexus at the Tim Hortons this morning (8:40am) on Tecumseh and South Field Drive, for paying it forward and paying for mine and my husbands order.
Yes, it might seem like such a simple thing but to us it just made our day. This week has been a rough one. From not knowing if I will lose my job, dealing with problems at our sons school, it is also coming up to the anniversary of my dads passing ...along with all the other stresses in life. It helped to bring a smile to our faces and to say get out of this sadness slump.
We also paid it forward to the guy behind us, so you also started a chain event :)
So thank you again!
At about 640 this morning on the corner of Lauzon and McHugh I encountered a woman who had just hit a cyclist. She was understandably distraught. When I got there there was another gentleman in a suit who had arrived just before me. He was calm and handle the situation. When I called 911 he told me to tell them it was Inspector Hickey. I gave him my phone and he explained what he needed. Within a matter of minutes the firemen from the fire station right there had arrived as well as two police cars and the ambulance. So my point is thank you to Inspector Hickey, Windsor Fire and EMS.
I am just so thankful beyond words, my boyfriend lost his wallet, not even knowing he lost it, he got a call from the police station and someone had turned it in. Not a single thing missing & someone went out of their way to return it to the police With two little ones, I can't thank you enough for being so kind and honest when finding it. My faith in humanity has been completely restored, the way the world is these days there is not many people as kind as you. Thank you so so much.
