I just wanted to thank Chantelle from
The Bourbon last night. What an amazing waitress. We had a big surprise party for my sister and she went over and above. She was calm and collective the entire time and it got very busy in there. I was impressed with how organized she was and continuously checked on everyones drinks and food. You are a model employee. Keep up the great work ! Thank you again for last night Chantelle :)!!
I would like to recognize a wonderful sales associate, named Sonia, who works at Sears Inc. I shopped at Sears on Friday, December 4th, and had the pleasure of being assisted by Sonia. She was so incredibly helpful and she had such great customer service skills. Sonia was very friendly and she went above and beyond to assist me with my shopping experience. Sonia, I hope that Sears recognizes you for your fabulous customer service skills. When I contact the Sears corporate office to share this info with them, I am going to highly encourage them to strongly consider you for promotional opportunities because it is people like you who help retain customers at Sears. Thank you, Sonia.
On Wednesday December 2nd, my husband, myself and our three kids drove out to Bastien tree farm near McGregor to cut down our Christmas tree. Just as we were leaving my 16 year old son realized that he had lost his cell phone. We headed back out and searched for close to an hour for it,unfortunately we couldn't find it. As we were leaving the owner approached us and we informed him of my sons lost phone. He said he would go out on his atv and search for it, just leave our number and he would call if he found it. To our surprise he phoned us this morning and said someone found it! Thank you very much to the people who found it and turned it in and thank you Bastien tree farm! Merry Christmas.
This morning, I was backing out of my parking spot at the Super Store on Walker road when I noticed a man gesturing towards me and something about my car. I stopped and rolled down my window, when he kindly informed me that I had a flat tire and shouldn't be driving on it. I had absolutely no idea I had a flat, and honestly would have just driven home on it if it weren't for him. On top of that, I forgot my phone today and was going to run back in to the Super Store when he said I could use his phone to call home. I really appreciate you stopping me, there's no telling what could have happened if you didn't. So, thank you so very very much for all of your help today!
And I have to say thanks to my dad who drove out to my rescue to change my tire in the parking lot, especially since he works midnights and had only slept for about 2 hours when I called. :)
I will start with this. I work at the harveys on tecumseh and Lauzon and at my harveys our morning grill person suggested an idea of helping a unfortunate family or 2, that maybe can't afford alot or anything for their family for Christmas, so we put a jar up at our front cash register and we aren't encouraging people to donate (but if you do we greatly appreciate it) and most people throw a few quarters in there and it's great we love it. But today around 7 pm I was garnishing a ladies order and sheasked me about where it goes to and I explained and she said "ok that's great, I don't want to put this in the jar up front so can you give this to your supervisor to put in a safe place" and she handed me a $100 bill. She could have just walked past the jar but no she went that extra mile. I wanted to make sure it went unnoticed
Last week I took my 91 year old father to Home Depot on Tecumseh road. Both his dryer and dishwasher broke within hours of each other. A wonderful store representative not only spent a lot of time with us he gave my dad his chair to use while he stood and did the computer work. A big thank you goes out to John!!
It has been my pleasure to ring the bells for the Kettle Drive for Sally Ann at this location a couple times recently. Your charity and bright smiles bring me such joy and warmth and you are the reason I give my time in service. Thank you so much for the positive thoughts and your donations to a much needed charity. God bless you all.
Young female worker at the McDonalds in the Wal-Mart on the east end. You have been spotted!! A gentleman in a wheel chair came in and ordered a hot drink. This young worker carried the drink to his table, put a straw into it for him, and even went into his wallet (at his request) and put his hot beverage sticker on his card for him! Being the emotional person I am, I am sitting across the restaurant watching this with tears in my eyes. What seems like such a small act to some, is huge for others. Your kindness did not go unnoticed, and you, and your parents should be very proud! I hope my children grow up to be like you one day!
Signed,
Tearful Mama in the corner of the restaurant.
