I would like to give a huge SPOTTED, SHOUT OUT to the wonderful guys at Sarducci's Pizza (Tec. W.) location. On July 29th, I was having a really bad day and they did all they could to make it a little brighter. They treat their customers like family. THANKS AGAIN GUYS.
While at freshco on Huron church I observed this man for about a half an hour. He was helping a lady with her van. It didn't seem to want to start and he was being so patient insisting he wasn't in a rush. After informing her that her jumper cables did not work, he used his and the van started. He told her to bring it in to get checked across the street and refused any type of reward. The way he spoke with her was amazing as he was a young man and it is not so common these days. Good on you sir 😊
Hi, I had submitted a post the other day about a generator that was taken from a race. The generator was returned so I just wanted to send a follow up email to say the previous submission can be disregarded.
Thank you very much,
Jessica Allison
I want to thank all of the Doctors, Nurses,Respiratory Therapists and other staff in the ICU at Met for their outstanding care and compassion during a very difficult time. There wasn't a question that went unanswered, a need left untended or a hug not given. This is truly an amazing team and they deserve much more recognition than this but it is a start. & lt;3
So the other night I was pulled over for a small traffic infraction, that actually turned out to be a bigger issue (long story). That aside, the officer that pulled me over was very friendly, kind, and understanding to the situation. He answered the many questions I had and offered me advice. What he probably expected to be a quick pull over turned into about an hour waiting at like 1am and he was not remotely rude about it. He did not talk down to me and treated me with respect and it was very appreciated given the situation. So thank you, for being the complete opposite of what Police stereotypes and reputations are. I can't say I'm happy with how the situation has unfolded for me, but it was 100 times better than it could have been. Thank you Windsor Police!
Spotted: Today i was in a funeral procession and as we were driving i seen plenty of plenty of people stand/ pull over and watch us go but 2 vehicles stood out....first to the Windsor Police Department they blocked traffic a couole times do the procession could continue when they didnt have to and to another black truck as we were nearing Greenlawn Cemetary he slowed down traffic to make sure no one behind passed us. Its so nice to see people do these things so to the WPD and the person in thr black truck you haved been spotted
A big thank you to the couple on Brimley. I was taking a walk around the neighbourhood when all of a sudden I felt ill. This couple allowed me to use their washroom and when I started to get dizzy, had cramps and thought I would pass out they called 911 and kept me cool until the paramedics arrived. I felt so embarrassed and bad for imposing on these people but they insisted that it was alright and they were very kind. So to the both of you I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank-you to the 4 gentleman that stopped along the way and helped me get my little 'speed bump' to a safe place this morning at around 5:30am! It was a long night of midnights and I wasn't ready for that puppy to stall on me (but are we ever)! I was so determined to get it home but after that first block of pushing, it just wasn't happening for one more. It means a lot when people show they care even with a busy in the midst of their busy life. Thank-you again,
Sarah
