Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Ok, so Tuesday, School starts, that means SCHOOL BUSES will be out, this is just a friendly reminder to everyone driving. When you see a SCHOOL BUS and the red lights start to flash, that means we are coming to a stop!!!! When you see that STOP ARM come out, that means for you to STOP!!!! There are no ands, if's or but's, you STOP!!!! If you go thru our STOP ARM, we will try our hardest to get your license plate number and WE WILL report it to the police. Remember, we are picking up the future of this country!!! We are picking up your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors. I realize that you all are going to work and no one likes to get stopped by a School Bus, but it's the LAW!!! We drive on a very strict schedule, we will be making the same stops every day until the end of June. Have a great idea, if you don't want to get stopped by a SCHOOL BUS.....maybe leave 5 to 10 minutes early for work. We also stop for all rail road tracks, we put our 4 ways on, as we have to open our door and check to make sure a train isn't coming, you don't have to stop, but we do. Each and every SCHOOL BUS DRIVER'S main concern is getting OUR kids, (yes when they get on the bus, they are OUR kids) to and from school safely. Frankly, I don't care if I stop you, it is my job to pick up and drop off my kids safely and on time. So, let's have a safe School Year and make sure you STOP, when you see those Flashing Red and the STOP ARM out!!!!
Yesterday I was stung by a wasp on my tongue. I don't have a sysemic reaction but I do get major swelling wherever I get stung. We immediately rushed to Leamington hospital emergency room. I was seen immediately and the nurse who took care of me was great, his name was David. Everyone in the hospital was wonderful. I've never been to the emergency room before and I'm glad my first experience was such a good one.
Thank you so much to the kind lady who paid for my dad's pain meds at the Superstore Pharmacy, this afternoon!
He had forgotten his wallet and you generously covered the dispensing fee so he did not have to go home empty handed!
God bless you :)
Sunday morning a good Samaritan stopped to give a man hope and a hug when he felt he had lost everthing.
A young man on Ottawa street approached him to ask if he would call an ambulance. He lost his job, his wife, his house, and decided to overdose on something. The kind citizen called 911 and walked with him until he collapsed and sat next to him on the ground, crying myself. His mom, driving around looking for him, stopped her car, and came running over screaming and crying.
Chis, you extended you hand to this man and his family. As a mother myself, I pray that there are more people like you who will stop and pull someone in off that ledge, give them hope and kindness and a hug when I cannot. One day it may be my child. There are no words to adequately express a parents gratitude for gvmiving their child your time. ❤ #everylifematters #goodsamaritan
Just wanted to share a kind hearted person I recently connected with. I was on Kijiji the other night searching for toys for my boy (3yrs old) I came across a free spits tickets ad relizing my son and I love hockey and he hasn't experienced a live game yet asked if they were still available. The poster said unfortunately they were not but offered me any other sunday tickets I wanted in the future. For that ma'am or sir I believe deserved recognition. small gestures like this go unoticed way to often .. you've been spotted. God bless.

Being a Victim of the tornado on Riberdy Road last week, I was offered assistance through a Chrysler Worker. This kind man is removing damaged trees that Insurance won't cover and hauling them away for only the price of his gas and oil. Bryan has already broken 2 chains and has used over 5 gallons of fuel. There is a Gofundme account already set-up, but if people ask that Bryan's tools be replaced, I would be very grateful. I'm Greg Tremblay, and you will soon hear my name mentioned often, for highlighting our Mayor's broken promises. Twas my 4th tornado, so living near me is the safest place to be. Love to all!
This happened Friday afternoon, around noon. I was heading east on McHugh Drive at Lauzon, when I observed a young lady, with her 4 ways activated, and an unmarked police car, behind her with his lights activated
I assumed he had pulled her over, to ticket her. I continued on my way, and finished my errands, came back 10 minutes later, but this time there's a gentlemen, adding gas to her gas tank, so she could be on way. The police officer did not leave till this damsel in distress was safely on her way. Thank You Windsor Police for keeping this lady safe in her time of need. Great Job WPD!!!
Friday September 2nd our family went out to Boston Pizza for dinner. As we were about to get ready to leave our daughter got sick on their carpet and the floor infront of the doors. This one employee didn't hesitate at all she went above and beyond to help us with her and she cleaned up the messes! I felt embarrassed but she reassured everything was ok and not to be embarrassed. To the hostess at Boston Pizza on manning you've been spotted and my husband and I are greatly appreciative of your Actions. Thanks again!!!
