Please help by posting this to your page. She's a local mama and a good friend of mine. We are all devastated. Someone out there could be her miracle.
This is Madalayna Ducharme our daughter. She is 5 months old and has recently been diagnosed with malignant infantile osteopetrosis. It is a genetic disorder that doesn't allow the bones work properly and they become too dense. This disorder is awful, it attacks vision, hearing and is life threatening. Madalayna is in need of a bone marrow stem cell transplant.
If you are in the age bracket of 17-35 and are healthy we encourage you to sign up to be on the one match registry. It is a quick swab of your mouth to register. If you match up with someone it could be as simple as a blood donation because science has come a long way and has discovered new easier methods for collecting stem cells. You may be the only person in the world who could save a special someone, like Madalayna's, life.
If you are not able to register for any reason, word of mouth to spead awareness to people who can, is greatly appreciated.
There will be a swab event held in Madalayna's name at St Clair College on January 26th at 9:30am to 3:30pm
A valid health card is needed to register.
If you are unable to attend this swab and are still interested you may also register online at

An enormous thank you to the Support Staff and Leadership staff of the Lifeskills Program/ Classroom at Assumption High School. You're an exceptional group, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to help my son thrive, treating him with respect and dignity, and help him reach milestones. Thank you for everything you did today to help him reach another milestone, and that was to get his graduation pictures taken with success! I am truly grateful for everything you've done and continue to do to help him achieve his potential.
A very grateful parent.
I just want to thank the 2 ladies who were at the Ouellette campus this afternoon. We were in the waiting room and you both noticed I was crying and just down and out. The lady with brown hair offered to talk to me, and the lady with the blonde hair who offered to go get me a coffee. I appreciate you both and I know you were both going through your own issues but just wanted to thank you both for reaching out to me. It's greatly appreciated. I hope you ladies are both well and thank you again.
About a week ago, I had lost my cell phone. I thought I lost it near the new tops of windsor. Called it a billion times, I was even gonna see about cancelling my Sim card if I could. Then the same day I was going to try cancelling it, someone called my mother-in-law's phone, using my phone. I tried calling back but it went to voicemail. I texted, no reply. I kept calling and finally someone answered. They said "hello, I found this phone." And from there we arranged for me to go and pick it up. He said he thought it was a garbage phone because the screen was cracked but decided to give it a try anyways and charged it. He said he immediately started calling people to find the owner. He said he found it around the place I thought I lost it. Sir, I just want to let you know that you are an amazing person. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only giving me my phone back, but for giving me back my thousands of memories in my gallery, you gave back important information in my notes. You didn't touch anything other than my contacts to call people. Thank you again!
By the way, this man refuses to accept a reward. :(
I'm surprised this has not been done already. Before christmas there was a woman and her husband who sponsored a few families and handed out a ton of turkeys to those in need and also gave 4 needy families $250 walmart gift cards and donated a ton of food to street help and drouilard place. These two angels helped out a ton of people for christmas and I wanted to say thank you. They have a facebook page. It says they try to help families every year. Bless you both.
Thank you Windsor police for making our kids smile all day! You turned on your light and they were so excited! Thankyou so much!
I was in met emerge and a young single father came in with a one month old. I just want to say..good job and also just wondering if your baby boy ended up being ok.

Today my son and I were having lunch at Mamo burger after our doctors appointment. The man that was sitting behind us paid for his bill and left. But then returned back in to ask if anyone owned an black Explorer. I didn't respond because I have a black edge . But he then pointed at my car so I told him that it was mine. He then told me I had a bulge in my tire that I didn't see. I had just came off the expressway and my son drives that expressway everyday to go to school. Today I'm very grateful for this man for coming back in to let me know . He is truly my guardian angel. Thank you so much xo😇
