Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Tonight my family celebrated a birthday at Red Lobster. I do not know this young lady's name but she took time from her job to pull a lobster out of the tank for my son and daughter to hold. She showed them how he could hold a straw in his little pinchers and did not rush my little boy who almost fell over he was so excited. Racing around to tell everyone he was touching the "lomster", he was over the moon.
There are certain people we encounter who don't let moments pass by. They seek out opportunities to bring a smile and they are present enough to see a little boy looking intently at the crustaceans with wonder.
Thank you dear server for taking your time to serve my son in such a unique and thoughtful way. He is a nature freak and watches documentaries on his free time. You provided him with an amazing experience that I as a mother was touched to watch. You went above and beyond and I thank you :)
So tonight, 10 days into my gratitude challenge I am grateful for the strangers who take time to truly see those around them and for the humans who are not so caught up in their own heads that they miss the chance to reach out and connect. #30daysofgratitude
A great big shout out to a wonderful awesome family man I wish I knew who you were you were in front of me at the drive-through at the McDonald's on Manning road I went to go pay for my child's happy meal and was told by the cashier that the gentleman in the vehicle in front of me paid for my order in full...
Noticed you two had some children in the car And pulled over to immediately give them food I beep the horn and I waved and I said thank you not sure if you heard me We are thankful for your kind gesture We knew who you were to repay the favor Thank you again kind hearts and souls are hard to come by and you set an awesome example Thanks again
I drove to the petro canada on ouelette and tecumseh road due to a light on my dashboard showing my tires werent full. I used the tire air machine and filled my tires but when I went to turn on the car after, it still came on. So I turned the car off and checked the tires if there might be a hole in one, and a great man offered me help checking my tire pressure, and since the air time ran out he payed for extra time for air to pump the tire I had that was low! I was so thankful that I had his help, it truly shows there are great people out there, as I was leaving he knocked on my window and handed me his tire pressure gage and insisted I keep it! Thank you to this wonderful man! Youve been spotted!
To the kind gentleman at the St.Clair Beach Zehr's,
Thank you so much for your kindness in loading my full cart of groceries onto the grocery belt while my 2 year old slept on my shoulder!
Thank you for taking the time to help me out so I didn't have to put down my little guy who wasn't feeling well.
You were so sweet to chat about your granddaughter & your trip and even offer to take them to my car for me.
I can't thank you enough for your thoughtfulness!
Thank you to the wonderful woman in the truck ahead of me at the Macdonald's drive thru at Wyandotte and Pillette this morning around 6:50 am. When I went to pay the cashier told me you had paid for my order this morning. I was just want to give you a big "Thank You". This made for a great morning. Thank You Once Again.
My dad has spent the last 10 months in the hospital. While he was staying at met bosoitslcon the 4th floor respiratory he had an amazing nurse named sarah. Well all of his nurses were amazing on that floor but sarah was special to my dad. Well now with him finally being able to go home we have been trying to reach out to sarah to talk to her. I did visit the floor today but she was not working. If anyone knows her please let her know that we are trying to get in touch with her. If it helps she has a twin sister that works on the oncology side of the 4th floor as well. Hoping someone will be able to help! My dad's name is Mr macpherson. Thanks so much !
I was having a pretty rough day, money is tight and it's been very hard over the last few months to be paying my bills on time. I was at home and a young gentleman knocked on my door, when I opened it he introduced himself and said he was running as the PC candidate for Windsor and he wanted to know if I had any questions or concerns. Right away I got annoyed and was a bit rude to him. But instead of him leaving, he looked me straight in the face and apologized for what I was going through and told me that he was born and raised in Windsor and he was so hurt by how much people were suffering from the decisions others had made. He said he would do anything in his power to bring change to Windsor and that at any time I could contact him with my concerns. He was such a friendly and pleasant young man and I could tell how genuine he was. Thank you Adam for listening to me and not being offended when I was unnecessarily rude to you and thank you for spending that extra time with me so that you would walk away only after I had laughed and had a smile on my face. I wish you all the best.
To the lady that came to my door today to say my Dog was out of the yard, Thank You so much, I feel terrible that I didn't thank you at the time I was so freaked out. Thank you for making sure she was in the yard. You've been spotted.
